De Kwekerij is a large area development project in Utrecht, focused on providing student and starter housing. Building D is a part of this project, involving the repurposing of an old KPN data centre into 206 residential units.
The design for Building D was handled by MORstudio, a young architectural firm based in Rotterdam. Bureau Bouwkunde provided support to MORstudio in the technical development phase of the design. This involved working on technical details and writing the Technical Specifications. Later in the process, Bureau Bouwkunde conducted a peer review/collegial review.
