The transferium must be energy neutral and also become the greenest parking garage in the Netherlands. The building will therefore have a green facade and a solar panel roof. The design has room for approximately 1100 parking spaces including a bicycle shed for approximately 240 bicycles with charging points. The transferium has a unique location, near the center of Den Bosch, the Jeroen Bosch hospital and the Gement nature reserve. Sustainability, ecology and the experience of the environment are therefore taken into account.

BIMmen on location

During this project we worked together with our client Ballast Nedam Parking, steel supplier Kampstaal, installation company Bosman and engineering firm Sweco. The team of Bureau Bouwkunde Nederland supports Ballast Nedam Parking with setting up a BIM model and the architectural drawings during the final and implementation design. An important starting point for this project was that the various parties would work together integrally and on location in one central BIM model and that the construction partners would be directly involved in engineering. Ambitious planning has been achieved thanks to the efforts of all partners.
